Vol. EAGLES No. FLEW

Happy Valentine’s Day:

All right, guys, this is your holiday to really shine, to pull out all the stops and go overboard (actually there isn’t an “over” board with this wonderful romantic day). But what, you ask, oh Brilliant One, can I do to show my beloved the depths of my absolutely unquestionably insanely forever devotion? Brilliant One (not B.O. please) says: Grasshopper, this is perfect for ALL occasions:

CHOCOLATE.

My personal favorite in the universe is See’s, but there are many more, usually outrageously expensive since they’re also artwork using a chocolate canvas. DO NOT get any chocolates from a drug store, big mistake and it means you cheaped out and aren’t really all that outrageously devoted. Next? Now it’s time to put on your thinking cap: What does he/she love to do that could be a surprise (after or before a lovely dinner at her very favorite Cantina?)

Now, you do not have to sell your car (or yourself) to impress the object of your devotion; Simply show that you’ve given this time and thought. You know what? You’ll have a great time enjoying the open-mouthed surprise and promising joy.

SUPER BOWL 59: The country was divided between the Chiefs and the Eagles. Not lying here: I kept telling people the defensive and offensive Eagle lines are all incredible BIG athletes (If I saw one of those guys bearing down on me, I sure would think 1,000 pounds was coming and say a please- let- me-survive prayer). You know the very best? The young rookie, Cooper DeJean’s interception for a touchdown and wow –- it was his 22nd birthday. Can you imagine all his family and friends going absolutely nuts?

Lots of rain and snow and all around yuck for most of the country, so gather your other half, your critters, and snuggle. The “snuggling” might lead to happy trails if you really score on Valentine’s Day.

Happy February,

Catherine Coulter
