Vol. Spring No. Has Sprung

Did everyone pay their taxes, as in "render unto Caesar"? Drunk maybe three beers to drown your empty-wallet sorrows?

Perhaps a couple of curses thrown in to really leaven your depression?

Hey, maybe you got $$ back and does this mean a vacay to like Oahu to surf the North Shore or indulge in other pleasurable pursuits while lying on the beach? Or maybe three beers to celebrate your windfall?

Do you know it will be World Book Day on April 23rd? Of course you know what this means -- you buy books for family and friends, maybe neighbors and the occasional lover, maybe even a stranger you meet hiking. But what books to give, you may wonder. Here's a BIG clue -- MINE! (see booklist if you haven't memorized all 97)

WBD comes just after Easter, and what a very fine day that brings -- celebration in a lovely church service, home to a lunch of ham and scalloped potatoes, and don't forget the kids (no, no, not eat the kids). We're talking hiding colored eggs, or preferably chocolate eggs. Lots.

WRITING UPDATE: What could be better than chowing down chocolate eggs? Not a problem - think about my first hysterical (historical) in a long time, THE HEIR OF WHITESTONE, 1842, London, mystery, mayhem, guaranteed to crack you up. Ryder Sherbrooke is a major minor character. I don't as yet have a publication date, will keep you posted.

I've also finished THE DEMON IN THE WALL, the 8th Grayson Sherbrooke Otherworldly Adventures novella. I don't as yet know its publishing disposition.

And finally, if you're still alert, I've started the second hysterical (historical), lots of mystery, romance, humor and wait for it - woo woo. I don't as yet know how or with whom the woo woo will manifest, but it's going to be a blast to find out.

Everyone, do not forget WBD

Happy Easter
